It was a proposal like non other.  He had it all planned out.  A Tiffany’s box, the wine country, & a happily ever after.  The only catch is that this was not just any guy proposing, this was a guy known for pulling pranks.  That Tiffany blue box every girl dreams of opening was empty.  All part of the plan.  She, utterly disappointed.  He, down on one knee with the real ring in the real box…looking up at her asking her to be his wife. Tears of sadness turned into tears of joy within seconds…
Heather wanted to incorporate a little of Rikio’s heritage into the wedding so she herself folded 1,000 paper cranes…a Japanese symbol for good luck. Â The cranes were filled to the top of every vase and scattered about the reception. Â It was just gorgeous! Â I know this couple won’t need any luck as they are simply perfect for each other. Â The day was magical and the love that surrounded them was beautiful.
LOVE this ‘First Touch’ instead of ‘First Look’!! Â It was so playful and such a clever way to build the anticipation of the big reveal when they would see each other for the first time at the ceremony!
Sometimes it’s good to have a little ring dropping to keep things interesting…
