Kelly is one of my very good friends whom I have known since freshman year in the dorms!  That was what, 11 years ago!  No, that can’t be right? right?  eek, I’m getting up there!  Anyway, I was so honored that she asked me to do her wedding!  It turned out to be one of the most fun weddings I had ever been to, even though I was “working” at it.  Just as Kelly and Colin were about to see each other for the first time, just blocks up from Manhatten Beach, one of the bridesmaids shouted over to us, that Justin Timberlake is eating right down the street!  AHHH, what to do?  The unveiling is about to take place, JT is 2 yards away…how do I copy and paste myself to be 2 places at once?  Of course Kelly and Colin’s big reveal was way more important, especially since Kelly was the most beautiful bride I had ever seen.  There was no way I was gonna miss Colin seeing her for the first time!  It was a great moment!  It definitely trumped the moment I popped into the cafe doorway and shouted, “Justin!”  Yup, called him by his first name…Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to call him Mr. Timberlake, JT, Triple Threat, Your heiness…etc…Justin worked the 3rd time I said it.  I asked him if he would mind taking a picture with the bride.  He said that he did mind.  What did I expect?  Him to say, ” Why don’t we get one of the whole bridal party while we are at it?”  Noooo.  So I did what any photographer would do and took his picture anyway!  BOOM!  At least I asked first right?

Anyway, the day got more and more fun as it went on.  The ceremony was beautiful.  It was held at Veranda’s in Manhatten Beach.  After the cake cutting, things got even more interesting!  There was a surprise performance by one of the groomsmen.  His 10 minute tribute rap to Kelly and Colin was awesome!  What was even more awesome was another groomsman and Colin joined in the rap toward the end!  It was Dope!  That would be the proper word to use in this case I’m guessing?  haha!  The best part about photographing a friend’s wedding is that your husband is invited and you can catch him being silly…that and I got to get my boogy on after 8 hours!  Love you guys!  Hope you enjoy the pictures!
