It was ‘dis-like’ at first sight.  The scene: History Class Sophomore year in high school.  She thought he a water polo playing dork who drank too much chlorine, and her know-it-all loud mouth personality was enough to drive him crazy.  Fast forward to Senior year.  As Andrew matured, so did his feelings for Krystle. He no longer saw her the way he once did and wanted to ask her out on a date.  However, he let her know that he didn’t want anything serious.  She took that as a challenge and simply replied, “We will see about that!” In true fashion, Krystle was right and they were inseparable from then on.  In college, they took a 2 year break, but always knew they were meant for each other and would some day get back together.  Finally that day came. Her phone rang and it was him.  Andrew was joining the military and wanted to know if she would get back together with him. Without any hesitation she dropped everything and flew to be with him in Texas where he was stationed.  Now 13 years later these two are getting married and couldn’t be happier!  Someone needs to send this love story to Nicholas Sparks and get this puppy into production!
We had so much fun at the Santa Cruz Harbor! Â This spot is special to them as it is not far from where they often hung out together back in high school. I always love beach shoots, and love them even more when the couple actually takes me up on the offer to run in the ocean! Â It hadn’t been two seconds after I suggested playing in the ocean that Andrew rolled up his jeans and ran IN. Â He wasn’t lying when he said he can’t be near water without going in. Â It was so much fun to see them right at home with each other and their surroundings. Â These two are so clearly made for each other and I am honored to be their wedding photographer!
