What do you get when an English Lady and an Irish Lad get married?  THE BEST WEDDING EVER!!  Although they never met as kids, Maria & Joe both grew up in the East Bay and attended rival high schools.  Both are very good athletes and were even featured in the town’s newspaper on the same day, on the same page years before they met.  That is serendipity for you!  It wasn’t until they were set up by a mutual friend after college that they had their first date in San Francisco.

The ceremony was so well done with heartfelt vows exchanged as well as a sand ceremony.  The reception is where things were turned up a notch with Maria and Joe setting the stage with their fun choreographed first dance.  The speeches were hilarious!  Complete with a speech to the beat of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” done by Maria’s sister.  When the dancing started there were many English tributes including appearances by Prince William and Kate Middleton, soccer balls flying around, and of course a football song that everyone but me knew the words too 😉  It was such a fun wedding and I know Maria & Joe will always look back on it as one of the best days of their lives!  Congrats!
