To My Couples of 2014:  Thank You for an awesome year and making it one that I will always remember as life changing!  I took a leap of faith this year quitting my corporate job designing tiny clothes for little people at Gymboree.  It was an awesome job, but it was more of my security blanket than a passion.  If it wasn’t for You 17 couples who placed Your faith in me to capture the most important day of Your lives, I wouldn’t have been able to make the jump off the corporate ladder and land so softly on to the net below that was calling my name for the past 4 years. I recently heard that Passion is latin for sacrifice.  It is so true and it is a blessing to have something worth losing comfort, security, & routine for. I hope that each one of you know that you always have a friend in me and although we said goodbye on Your wedding night, I am always around for dinner, a hike, or even down to babysit Your adorable dog 🙂  Cheers to You and all the exciting things that Your future holds as Mr. & Mrs!

Ok, Here We Go!
Image #1) From the Bride: This picture is one of my favorites from our big day! I love it because we didn’t have a “first look,” but a “first touch” and we are both very happy. Just before our first touch, Rikio was being himself and avoiding my hand and being silly thus making us both laugh. There’s nothing more that I want then to start our new life together smiling and laughing!Â
Image #2) From the Bride & Groom:Â Our wedding was all about throwing a big party for Dan, and a lot of that was the venue. This photo is prefect because you can see our love and passion for each other and it also perfectly captures our BEAUTIFUL venue (Hotel Yountville).
Image #3) From the Bride: I like this picture because it describes my relationship with Manu – old fashioned (black & white), twisting and twirling together in a whirlwind of God’s grace and loveÂ
Image #4) From the Bride & Groom:Â We stood in the forest hand in hand, an hour before the wedding, the sun beaming through the trees brightly as we beamed at each other.
Image #6) From the Bride: What I really love about this picture is that I remember the exact moment it was taken: We had just said our vows, and had walked back down the aisle and turned the corner to head over and take family portraits. We were whispering and laughing in disbelief that we were actually married (and that I had forgotten my vows). It was a raw moment of pure joy.
Image #7) From the Bride & Groom:Â This photo sums up our wedding day and theme of “My love, My laughter, My happily ever after”. I love the colors and lighting in the this photo from the church. If we weren’t kissing, we were laughing the entire day and it way by far the best day of our lives. This photo captures a brief moment we were able to share alone after just officially becoming Mr. & Mrs. When I look at this photo I feel the love and happiness of that day and it symbolizes the promise we made to each other among our friends, family, and God.
Image #8) From the Bride & Groom: This image seemed to perfectly capture the happiness overflowing in our hearts. It was towards the end of the night and we had a blast celebrating with our friends and family. Shortly after this photo, we hopped in the “48 Chrysler New Yorker to start our life together as Husband and Wife.
Image #9) From the Bride & Groom:Â “We love how Heather was able to capture the beauty of the forest and how much fun we were having with such a perfectly timed shot. This picture is truly memorable for us because as the sun broke through the clouds, we had so much fun running from section to section to try and catch the light as it was coming through the trees!”
Image #11) From the Bride & Groom: “We snuck away from dinner to take this picture, it was a quiet, peaceful moment together before heading back into our boisterous celebration.”
Image #12) From the Bride & Groom:Â Dance like nobody’s watching! The expressions on our faces perfectly capture our love story.
Image #15) From the Bride & Groom:Â We love this photo because it captures our personalities and the love, joy, fun and connection that we share. Jeff commented that this photo of us makes him smile every time he sees it. Our wedding day was the happiest day of our lives and this photo captures that feeling perfectly.Â
Image #16) From the Bride & Groom:Â Every time we look at our wedding photos, we get a goofy smile on our face and instantly relive the entire night. Â
Image #17) From the Bride & Groom: Every time I see this photo I’m reminded of how Karl makes me feel….secure, loved and right at home. Because wherever we are, no matter what life has in store for us, as long as I am with him, I’m at home.
