If there is one word that could describe me right now at this very phase in my life, it would be EMOTIONAL! Â I found myself alone in front of the TV last week crying at the Cheerios commercial…you know the one I’m talking about…The kids cut out the Word “Cheer” from the word Cheerios on the cereal box and write a message on the back to send to a soldier’s family for the holidays. Â It gets me every time! Â Biggest Loser, Extreme Home Makeover, Parenthood, Minute to Win It, Saturday morning cartoons…Please pass the tissue box! Â So you can imagine what brand new babies that are not just on the TV screen do to me 🙂 Â Wyatt was born 11-4-11 and had LOVE rushing to see him from everywhere. Â Papa Bob and Grammy packed the car and hit the road all the way from Washington as soon as word reached them that their daughter was going into labor. Â They made it there in 22 hours and were able to hold their first grandson when he was still in the hospital. Â Matt and I booked a flight and made our way there for Thanksgiving as well…and I have to say, we all had a lot to be thankful for this year. Â All the Scharf’s were together for the first time on Thanksgiving in years. Â It was awesome, and it was amazing to look into the eyes of a little baby still trying to figure out what this world is all about outside the dark cozy home he had for 9 months. Â He is absolutely perfect! Â Matt and I are so honored to be his God Parents and to be there for him as he grows into a young boy, teenager, and man. Â We left Steamboat Springs in love with that little guy…and the tears came. Â Here is a snippet of our week in Steamboat, and Wyatt’s first weeks of life!
Oh and the adorable faces of Cooper and Heidi! Â We stayed a night with my friends in Denver and these are their babies! Â I think these Bernese Mountain dogs have modeled before…or maybe this is their big break! 😉
Just when I thought that Colorado in the Summer was the most amazing place on Earth, I saw it in the Winter…now I just don’t know which is more amazing!
