After 'I Do'

Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!

Welcome!

I absolutely love these two!  They balance each other out like vodka and a dill pickle (a little trick I learned from Sasha that I plan on trying tomorrow!)  Sasha is a like a firecracker on the 4th of July…full of so much color and vibrancy for life!  Everything she says cracks me up and she is the type of person that everyone could be best friends with.  And Greg has a genuine way about him and a calmness that makes you feel at ease.  In the few hours I spent with them I could see how deeply in love they are and the selfless love He has for Sasha.  They are so completely perfect together and I am beyond excited that I get to be the one to capture all these special moments!  Sasha and Greg met at work in San Francisco and since this is where their love story began, they wanted to do their engagement shoot at some of SF’s best spots!  Because they live in the gorgeous neighborhood of Nob Hill, we started the session right outside the iconic Fairmont Hotel where there are sweeping views of downtown and trolly cars at every corner.  Sasha and Greg looked smashing in their semi-formal attire!  They literally looked like they walked right out of a magazine spread.  Her lipstick-red heels were pretty much to die for and added a fun pop of color amongst the urban backdrop.  We then went to the Palace of Fine arts and Chrissy Field Beach where we got the most delicious golden light. We ended the session right outside my door for a night shot of the downtown sky line.  It was an awesome day and I can’t wait for their wedding!

No one was hurt in the making of this photo 🙂
