After 'I Do'

Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!

Welcome!

Susannah & Luis ~ Engaged! ~ {Stanford University}

It was like any other job a University of Texas student would have (Go Longhorns!…I have Longhorn pride cuz I saw a football game there once, and unlike Cal Poly where I attended, there was actually something to cheer for!)  They worked together at a local restaurant while studying Engineering.  There was an immediate friendship taking shape between Susannah and Luis.  It wasn’t until a room opened up in Susannah’s house that their friendship turned into more.  Luis moved in with her and a few others, and like we all know, living together will either make or break your relationship whether it be a friendship or relationship.  Turns out it was a great move…literally 🙂  and thus began the love story of Susannah and Luis.  Today they are planning their Bahama wedding while he finishes up his masters degree at Stanford.  It was very fitting to have their shoot there as I’m sure Luis can’t get enough of school…j/k…but seriously, the campus is GORGEOUS and so historical.  I just loved the long pillared hallways and the huge church that stood proudly in an open courtyard.  Susannah and Luis were so fun to work with and I loved witnessing their soft spoken admiration and love for each other.  I enjoyed getting to know them and wish them the BEST!
