Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!

Sara & Will both have smiles that light up a room!  I just adore them both and am so happy that I got to be the one to capture all their love for each other on their wedding day!  I received the best feedback I could get from Will at the end of the night when he said I felt like part of the family after spending the day with them.  That is all I really want is to be; a memorable part of the day and capture memorable moments.  I loved everything about their wedding from Sara’s {OMG} gorgeous heels to the #yeswechan embroidered on all the groomsmen’s jackets.  When it came time to party this was something that their friends and family could get paid to do cuz they were so good at it. 😉 It was a blast on that dance floor (even I danced when Nelly came on!) and of course the “Yes We Chan!!” chants that echoed throughout the house all night were awesome too!  Congrats Sara & Will!

From the word ‘Go’ (her last name is Go. See what I did there?) I knew I would really like these two especially after sharing stories and laughs over a glass of wine at our first meeting! To top it off, we are practically neighbors in North Beach! Let me tell you, her favorite restaurant which is a short walk from our place, is our new favorite spot too. Dim Sum anyone? Can you tell I am hungry? Ok, back to this awesome duo. Before Adam arrived at our wine meeting, Katrina told me all about how he proposed. If you must know anything about me, know that I literally LOVE looking for things! Not to go on and on about myself, but I love looking for golf balls hiding in bushes, open houses, love notes hidden all over the house (hint hint hubby), bargains, awesome airbnbs, and of course clues on a scavenger hunt. In fact, I wish my life was one giant scavenger hunt. Anyway, you guessed it, Adam planned a city wide scavenger hunt with special people in Katrina’s life waiting at each location to give her the next clue. Each location had a signifiant meaning to their love story making the journey that much sweeter. The hunt ended with the ultimate prize…Adam on one knee with a ring and a proposal! So after Katrina finished taking me on the journey of her epic proposal story, Adam walks in and I literally wanted to give him a standing ovation!
Their wedding day was just as epic and I got to photograph it! Let’s just say if I could choose my wedding dress all over again, it would have been hers! The BHLDN high neck lace dress with buttons all the way up the back looked like a dream on Katrina. And Adam rocked his Batman cuff links and socks like a true super hero! But what really stole the show was how Katrina lit up with laughter just being in Adam’s presence. Katrina, as Adam said, truly is LOLing when she says she is 🙂 It was a pleasure to be a part of this wedding and I hope to run into these two soon!

Yukie & Daisuke were married at one of my all time favorite places…EVER! Willow Heights Mansion is the epitome of glamor and class with killer views to boot! Yukie & Daisuke have one of those stories that make you believe in destiny. They are both from Japan and first met working for the same company doing an internship. They developed a friendship that was cut short when Yukie moved to the Bay Area for a new job. But as fate would have it, Daisuke would get a job with the same company and relocating the the Bay Area as well! It was inevitable that their magnetic friendship would turn into something more…a lasting bond…a beautiful marriage. You could just feel the love at this wedding. There were so many tears during the speeches, and although most of them were not in English, I found myself tearing up witnessing the emotional response the beautiful words were eliciting. It was a glamorous celebration filled with feminine sparkly detail including her AH-MAZING shoes! I am so happy for Daisuke & Yukie! Check out their stunning wedding story below!
LOVE this idea! A fun way to show your connection to the bride and groom!
For those wondering, this is a real child, not a doll! I know this cuz he was dancing all night long 🙂
There is something so romantic about having your face pulled in by your new husband for the first kiss! Am I right?!

Simone and Dan are colorful people who I absolutely adore! It’s no wonder their wedding party was just as awesome! They made me feel so welcomed! All the bridesmaids were assigned a color and they got to wear any dress they wanted in that color! I just loved the way all the different looks gelled together so seamlessly. Simone and Dan share a love of all things music from concert going to hitting the karaoke stage. I was hoping there would be a late night performance from the duo, but their awesome dance moves definitely sufficed! The November 1st wedding had nods to DÃa de Muertos with DIY tissue and tulle bouquets for the bridesmaids and bright colored paper lanterns hanging from the alter. I absolutely loved the skeleton figurines of Simone, Dan, and their dog singing into microphones atop their cake. It was a special thing for me to take a couple who didn’t want too much camera attention, blossom in front of my camera and seriously rock it like no one’s business! That is why I am naming Simone and Dan my Rockstar couple of the year! Cheers to the start of a Rockin’ Marriage!
“Hands on Grandma!” Â An inside joke I totally got to be a part of!
Simone made this tissue, tulle and feather bouquets! Pure genius!
Just love how the dresses coordinate with the groomsmen ties! And the skeleton tie clips are to die for…literally.
Dan’s ring design pulls inspiration from the video game Myst; a game that started his passion for video gaming programming.
