My VERY first wedding is how I came to meet this wonderful family! Â These kiddos were a big part of the wedding day as their Aunt Sheen, as they call her, was marrying the love of her life. Â They were so fun to photograph that first time and were even more fun last weekend! Â They have gotten so much bigger over the year…Watching kids grow and change into the person they will become is one of my favorite parts about being a photographer. Â These kids are so amazing! Â They really like each other, although they show it with really big squeezy strong-hold hugs…but at least they hug right!? Â I can’t remember ever hugging any of my brothers growing up so to see the love between this family gives me hope that maybe my future kids will at least want to do more than flick each other in the ears.
We had a gorgeous day in Sausalito at Fort Baker. Â It was very tropical looking…grey, but sunny. Â We got lucky, cuz just as I got into my car to head home it started to pour! Â I love how sometimes things just fall into place!
We walked around the beautiful area and found some great lookout points with the Golden Gate Bridge shining brightly. Â We hiked up little hills and walked out onto piers…it was a carefree, fun session and just flew by for me! Â I had never been to this area before so it was great to do some exploring for future Scharf adventures 🙂 Â It was a bummer to say goodbye at the end of it, especially when the oldest daughter gave me a nice big hug to thank me….melt my heart! Â Here is a few of my favorites from the day!
