First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE-FOOZIE!!  As I look at these photos my heart feels at ease knowing you have found yourself the perfect woman in Jackie.  A woman who sees You for You and looks at You with admiration and overwhelming support.  I remember you listing off all the things You wanted in a girl and believe it or not, You found her!  More importantly, I am so thankful You have found the perfect new sister for me!  I don’t think I could have hand picked a better lady for you.  In fact, I think I kind of did hand pick her.  You didn’t realize that when we went apartment hunting in SF that it wasn’t the apartment I loved, it was your potential new roommate Jackie that caught my eye.

It didn’t take long before these two, both newly single, realized they had a shared sense of adventure, obsession with wine, and love for living life to the fullest.  Jackie, I think the world of You and love your positive outlook on everything.  You are so much fun, so incredibly smart, and so gorgeous!  You love, encourage, and push Joel to be normal I mean, to be the superstar he is today.  Most girls would run for the hills living with Larry the Clown & Detroit Lion Crap  memorabilia everywhere, but instead you embrace it. I had a blast photographing you guys and coaching Joel on how to look normal…but then again, what fun is normal?  Definitely still laughing at the spider pose I had you in for about 20 minutes too long!  Not sure what I was thinking, but thanks for playing along!

And now for some outtakes…Getting Joel to smile normally was the biggest challenge to date, but love that their personalities really shine here.  This was the first time Joel has ever picked up Jackie so there were lots of questions on what I meant by “picking her up” haha!
