Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!

Saskia & Zach {Married!!} Mission Hills Country Club Wedding ~ Palm Springs, Ca
Part of my process is really getting to know my couples before shooting their wedding.  My job is to help their personalities shine through in their images and the only way to do that is to gain their trust and to really get to know their story.  For Saskia & Zach, that was not as easy since they live in New York. However, the few conversations I had with Saskia prior to the wedding was enough for me to know that she was a genuinely nice person filled with love for the man she was soon to marry.  I couldn’t wait to finally meet them! Because they waited to see each other for the first time during the ceremony, I didn’t really get to know them as a couple until halfway through the wedding.  I met Zach first at his hotel and thought to myself, “What a nice gentleman…so welcoming and polite.”  I then went to meet Saskia and from the moment she welcomed me to into her parents’ home, I knew I had been blessed with two people who were individually wonderful and no doubt when brought together, a match made in heaven.  Indeed they are! During the ceremony I thought to myself, “Now this couple is fun!”  The way they looked at each other and the lighthearted laughter they shared throughout the ceremony was a beautiful thing to witness.  During their bride and groom photos, it was good times from start to finish.  If my camera was a mouth it would have eaten every last bit of them up!  So incredibly photogenic, these two!  Zach has a great mind for creativeness so we had fun attempting to utilize a sprinkler into a shot only to realize before it was too late that it was a rotating one.  Let’s just say, it would have been about 4 hours too soon for a trash the dress sesh!  I am so incredibly lucky that these two found me all the way from New York and I do hope our paths cross again! Congrats and enjoy the story of your day!
Your gonna wanna see more of this gorgeous wedding!
