Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!

Their story begins in San Diego at a popular beachside bar on a Sunday afternoon in 2012. Now, any story that starts with daytime drinking on the beach is gonna be a good one. In their case, it is the greatest one of all. Stephanie and her friend decided to go to PB Shore Club for ONE drink after catching some rays at the beach. Well, if you have ever set a ONE drink limit, then you know that you have just jinxed yourself into at least 3 and some shots. Just saying… When they settled into the bar, they noticed that it was filled with all young squirts except for 2 guys, one being Brian, that looked to be their age. Like 2 sets of magnets, they all came together and began to chat. Before they knew it, Red Bull Vodka slushies (aka RBV slushie) were flying back and the dance moves were coming out until the bar’s last call! It is safe to say they hit it off and a week later they had their first date, which did not include RBV slushies and went on a 3 mile hike!
As a tribute to the day they first met, they used the RBV Slushie chalices as their wedding glasses! Love it! They had an intimate Catholic ceremony with all of their families in Burlingame before heading to Pacifica for some beachside photos and the reception. It was a beautiful day on the coast so we took lots of photos up on the bluffs above the ocean. Stephanie and Brian are expecting twin girls in about 3 months so we did some maternity-esque style photos too! I absolutely LOVED her dress with the full lace back and long train! She looked amazing! They have so much to be thankful for and such love to give their two little sweeties on the way! I am so excited for all that they have in store and wish them all the happiness in the world!

This is the most FUN couple I have ever met! Â They have so much passion for each other and the chemistry between them makes me feel like I’m witnessing high school kids with a crush! Â This is the highest compliment a couple can get! Â They are adventurous and free spirited and just so much fun to photograph! Â Heidi is so beautiful and playful, which made her dress absolutely PERFECT for her! Â She would just have moments where she would twirl in her dress or pull it up and take off running just so she could get the dress to take flight with the wind. Â Did I mention the dress had pockets?! Â Yes, it was amazing! Â The ceremony was held at The Hastings House in Half Moon Bay, which is a beautiful house on the ocean with a gorgeous manicured garden in the backyard. Â Heidi and Heath were married right amongst the garden of blooming flowers and trees. Â You could hear the waves crashing in the distance. Â It was magical! Â After the ceremony we hit the beach, and Heidi did that with a vengeance as she jumped from a high rock down onto the sand! Â There was no way a little dirt was gonna keep this girl from having fun at her wedding! Â There were no rules about keeping this dress pristine, so we hit the enchanted forest that Heidi grew up playing in as a child. Â We ran through that forest and had so much fun! Â I just loved the way the light was shining through the tall trees like spotlights lighting up this couple in love! Â The fun didn’t stop at the forest…Wew had fun at Cypress Meadows for the Reception where we utilized a large barn for some fun group shots!
Heidi and Heath are off on an adventure of their own right now as they moved to Australia two days after the wedding! Â They are in a place where there are so many possibilities for exploration and adventure! Â It is a place I hold very dear to my heart as that is where I met Matt, and so I wish them the BEST as they embark on a new journey in this next exciting phase as newlyweds.
Yes, that is the bride jumping off the rocks onto the sand! Â I just love how only her hands and feet are showing through the flying dress!
