After 'I Do'

Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!

Welcome!

She was new to the Bay Area and looking for friends, when she spotted him at the BART station.  He looked nice enough, so she approached him asking about the young professional scene in San Francisco.  She gave him her number in the hopes that she might have found a friend in George.  That was not the case at all!  George thought his friends had planned the whole scheme of Crystal approaching him at BART, and was not having it…at all!  He spent the next 4 months hiding from her at BART when finally their paths crossed again and he chatted her up and asked her to brunch.  What started as a friendly brunch soon turned into hours of deep and thoughtful conversations.  They had so many things in common and soon the friendship turned into a relationship and bond that would never be broken.  They were joined by friends and family on the Eternity Yacht that set sail on the sparkling blue bay, and started their journey of marriage together.

I LOVE Crystal and George and when you see how beautiful Crystal’s smile is and how her laugh lights up an image you will see exactly why this duo is one of my favorites!  This wedding was so much fun!  They had each planned a surprise for one another during the reception.  Crystal and all her bridesmaids sat George on the dance floor and did an entire dance routine to “What a Man” by Salt and Pepper!  The dance was amazing and George was blown away!  George and his guys serenaded Crystal with a beautiful song.  The energy was infectious and the guests were so incredibly nice and fun!  I have never had so much fun capturing the moves that were breaking out on the dance floor!  The best part, which was so incredibly romantic, was when a gondola approached the yacht and swept them away off into the ocean as people waved them off!  How cool is that?

Here is to a beautiful couple who are not only best friends, but so very much in love!  I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites 🙂
