After 'I Do'

Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!

Welcome!

If I had to sum up this wedding in one word, it would be ‘classy,’ but trust me it was nothing short of the best party EVER!  It was a black tie affair at the San Francisco’s Olympic Club, set right on the water’s edge.  It is definitely one of the most spectacular venues I have ever shot at in San Francisco and Jamie & Patrick looked picture perfect. He, in his ivory jacket and black tie and she, in her backless gown with beautiful lace appliqués on the bodice.  When the two came together for the first time that day, Patrick was rightfully overcome by how gorgeous his bride looked.  They looked sooooo good in each other’s arms…I couldn’t help but feel the emotion too.  Bringing a new energy to the pre-ceremony photos was their 18 strong team of men and women in black.  They came, they conquered, and worked the camera so hard!  Such an awesome bridal party!  I had many favorite moments that day, but the one that stands out to me the most was capturing Patrick, as Jamie and her dad walked down the aisle toward him.  I don’t think there was a dry eye in the ballroom as everyone could feel the wave of emotion in that moment.  They were married in a jaw dropping setting and the words spoken were equally beautiful.  After hilarious yet heartfelt speeches and a fabulous dinner, the band Pure Ecstasy drew the crowd from the dining room onto the dance floor by performing a song in acapella. The stage was officially set for an epic night of dancing!

From Jamie & Patrick: “The entire wedding day felt surreal. We felt like movie stars and we were surrounded by all of our closest friends and family. We danced so hard my feet were bleeding by the end of the night and Patrick’s pants ripped up the middle- couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and a more fun party.”

Congrats Jamie & Patrick! It was an honor to be the one to capture your Day of all Days!
