I absolutely love shooting at Cathedral Grove at Saratoga Springs due to it’s natural beauty and majestic trees!  It is no wonder why Shannon & Ken who love the outdoors were immediately drawn to this venue!  It was the perfect setting for them to celebrate their marriage!  I just loved her bridesmaids dresses as they were in all shades of green to go with the surroundings.  Shannon’s parents are from Scotland so Shannon wanted to surprise her mom with a bagpiper at dinner.  It was something she knew would mean the world to her mom and would definitely be an unexpected moment she would always cherish.  Indeed it was!  When the bagpiper began playing from the distance, her reaction went from confused, shocked, ecstatic to having tears of joy as he slowly made his way to her table. It was such a special moment to witness.  Shannon & Ken are such genuinely nice people and have the most amazing group of friends!  The bridal party was totally down to hike through the forrest with me and cross streams in heels for photos!  I mean, there were a few natural setbacks but nothing slowed us down! Loved our photo sesh in the woods! This was the perfect wedding filled with so much love, laughter and sentiment.  Congrats to the newlyweds!
