If you know me, you know I have a small obsession with Pumpkin foods.  (As you can see I capitalize ‘Pumpkin’ because it is more than just a food to me.)  Literally anything Pumpkin is a thumbs up in my culinary world.  Katelin was in the sorority with me, but a year or two behind me in school…eeek, cat is out of the bag.  Yes, I was in an all girls club in college and we sang songs together while wearing big letters on our clothes.  I met awesome girls like Katelin and for that I am sooo thankful! Back to the reason we are here…the story of Katelin and Chris pulls at my heartstrings because of the involvement of Pumpkin carving, flip cup, and dinner.  Katelin was social chair and planned a Pumpkin carving event with the Pike house and of course there was a flip cup tournament because how else would you determine who made dinner and cleaned up the event?  I believe Pumpkin carving actually did take place but that is not an important part of this story.  Anyway, there was a heated flip cup battle where the girls barely lost. (I would just like to point out that I was not on the team nor present at the event and therefore cannot take any responsibility for the loss.)  Chris approached Katelin at the keg while she was filling a pitcher for the next game.  He not only admired her pitcher filling skills but her flip cup skills were not to go unnoticed, and Chris was sure to compliment her on those…he knew the way to her heart!  The rest is history and now they are planning an upcoming wedding in October!  Yah!  So excited to share these photos of my friends!  Pug Life!  Little Gigi got in on some of our E – Sesh action and did a fabulous job!
