Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!
Ah Yes, Tahoe…The most mysteriously beautiful lake in California.  Over a mile deep and so mysterious that it has been said, “The world is not ready for what is at the bottom of it”… How’s that for an opening line to a thriller novel.  I didn’t do any exploration missions last weekend in Tahoe, but I did made it my mission to wake up every morning by jumping off the pier with Matt.  The lake felt great!  I mean, you would think it was knife stabbing blistering cold, but really it is more like a cold shower.  It was the best weekend spent with friends at this lake front condo.  The nights were spent playing fun games and the days were spent on the lake or floating the Truckee RIver, which I totally recommend if you have 3 hours and moving at high speeds of 1 mile per hour get’s your adrenaline pumping…It might have taken our special boat at least 4 hours to finish as we had a “No Paddle Rule.”  If we got in a hairy situation we had to wait it out until the current naturally moved our raft onward.  It’s a fun game until your back is being stabbed by bushes :).  All this was made possible by my pal Elena!  Thanks for having us at your families place!  Matt and I have already planned to open a “Tahoe home savings account”  The photos I am in were taken my non other than Nicki!  Good job sista!  The sunsets and cobalt blue sky was my absolute favorite!  I had some fun with Stella the black lab and used her as my subject, but I think she loves the camera and knew exactly how to “work it”!
Ahhhhh, Nicki and Jeff!
Loved the moon reflecting on the lake!
I took this in the car as we were driving to dinner by zooming out my lens as I pressed the shutter. Â It looks so eerily cool!
If you are in to jumping shots…here is a tip I learned from E, and that is to bend your knees…it looks like you are getting way higher!
This is me trying to be serious…I had no idea Jenny was working it so hard behind me!
Yes, that is a doggy chew toy they are battling over! Â I think E won!
