Hello! My name is Heather and I am so happy you stopped by! This blog is a place where I will share love stories of amazing couples who I had the honor of photographing. It is a place where I can express my passion with images where my words fall short. Photography has changed my life drastically and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with this gift. I wish I could say the same thing about my singing voice, but what can you do?!
Photographing 3 month old Baby Zoe was only one of the many reasons why this had to be one of my favorite 4th of July weekends! Â We went to Steamboat Springs, Co to visit my husband’s sister and her husband, not only to celebrate with them, but also to experience this amazing part of Colorado in all it’s summer time beauty! Â When one of Jett’s close friends wanted pictures done during my visit, it was like the icing on the cake to an already amazing weekend. Â Taking pictures of little angels like Zoe is not considered work at all in my eyes, but a mini vacation from an adult world where decisions have to be made and deadlines need to be met. Â What made this shoot so fun was the constant smile and wide eyed curiosity that Zoe had. Â I think she was mesmerized by the lens eyeball opening and closing as I captured her little soul. Â I absolutely loved the colors of this session from the multi colored owl beanie to the bright turquoise tutu (we can thank good ol’ Gymboree for the latter) Â To top it off, they lived on a hill overlooking rolling hills and snow capped mountains perfect for a few shots in a red wagon filled with wildflowers! Â Zoe’s mom has such great taste and put together some really great outfits and props! Here are a few of my favorites from the day!
