When Kevin and Connie first started dating over 4 years ago, one of the first dates he planned for them was an escape room with a bunch of their friends. Connie was not into the concept of Escape Rooms and resisted any suggestions at trying one out. After he forced her into trying her first ever escape room (which they didn’t even escape from), she was completely hooked…on both the escape room experience and her new beau. They started doing escape rooms and puzzle hunts together all the time.
In the beginning of their relationship, Kevin showed her just how fun working together to solve puzzles can be. It’s only fitting that he completely created his own escape room-style puzzle hunt with the ultimate prize being a ring at the end of it. They solved a series of puzzles “together” that became increasingly (yet subtly) suspicious and ended with the opened locks flipping over to spell out “WILLL U MARRY MEEE”.
Connie had thought about this moment so many times in the past that she completely burst into tears as she realized the love of her life was now down on one knee grinning from ear to ear with a penguin engraved ring box open in his hands.
