Nestldown was their dream wedding location, but when their ideal wedding date was not available, they booked another venue. Then entered Covid. Their wedding date was pushed back 2 years, but luckily the wonderful concept of Minimonys was born! They decided this was the perfect solution to become husband and wife at a sooner date and still have a few close family and friends present. Nesltdown was the perfect place, and their ideal minimony date WAS available! Everything was falling into place beautifully AND they get to have two weddings with the big one happening next year! Nestldown is like stepping into a fairytale. Hidden amongst redwood groves in the Santa Cruz mountains, it boasts a massive koi pond and a gorgeous ceremony site tucked inside of a sea of redwood trees and lush greenery. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful to admire. It has long been a dream of mine to shoot there!

The day started off with Connie getting into her gorgeous wedding dress! A corset inspired lace bodice with tiny crystals scattered throughout the skirt. They had their first look under a weeping willow tree by the coi pond which was a beautiful moment as I could tell Connie knocked his socks off! My favorite moments however, happened during the ceremony. Just watching her come down the winding steps that meandered through trees and lush gardens was breathtaking. There were so many happy tears throughout the ceremony which made it feel even more intimate. I am so thankful I got to be a part of their wedding and am excited to see them again for the BIGmony!
