I always tell my couples that we can do their engagement session ANYWHERE! That is my sly way of saying think outside the box cuz I am down for anything. I just love shooting in new locations with an unexpected vibe! It keeps life spicy and my craft rejuvenated! I was so thrilled when Erini and Ryan suggested starting their session at a San Francisco bar. After getting rained out 2 times, the 3rd time was a charm and we had THE BEST time! We started the swanky bar sesh at Ristobar Italian Restaurant in the Marina of San Francisco. Erini’s dress from Anthropologie was AMAZING! I couldn’t have envisioned a more perfect dress for the session! The owner was so gracious offering up any and all of the spaces as well as providing free drinks! I used my Off Camera and On Camera Flash for the whole indoor portion, placing the flash in various spots to play with different lighting effects. I am so thankful that these two were open to my ideas and were able to be at ease in front of my camera! They totally nailed the session! After the bar we moved to the streets of SF and got some great brick shots as well as some shots in front of the Presidio Theater. But that’s not all! We then headed to The Palace of Fine Arts with their sweet pup Zip! It was a great night and I am so excited for their wedding day! Congrats you two!
