My name is Heather Scharf and I have been a maternity and family photographer since 2010 and I have loved every second of it! I serve San Francisco, wine country and the east bay! In all my years of doing photography, I can honestly say that I still have the same passion for it as I did when I first started! It is an art form that evolves and changes with each session. I love that each photo shoot is an opportunity to stretch myself creatively and try new techniques and tell new stories. My soul truly comes alive at every photo shoot and I always return home more happy than when I left. It is couples like Caroline and Corbett that always keep my craving more. They have been clients since their engagement and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see them grow their family. They are the most positive people with a vibe that makes you feel at ease. At the end of the session they asked how long it took for me to develop my style and I responded with, “What is my style? haha”. They tried to put it into words and finally said, “Joy.” You bring out the joy in everyone your photos feel happy and light. That was the first time someone had put it into one concise word for me!
