Heather Scharf: International Award Winning Underwater Photographer

The above image just placed 3rd in the NAPCP International image competition! I was sooo blown away to see 2 of my underwater images getting recognition! I am so obsessed with underwater photography and have been blown away by how it continues to stretch me creatively! It is so fulfilling and every session is a new adventure for me! I love that I can literally have an underwater maternity session on Wednesday and an above water sunset session Friday. I am booking Underwater Maternity Sessions right now! Summer is here and it’s time for those mama’s to capture this special time in a creative unexpected way! This photo session was amazing! Morgan was an Olympic Synchronized Swimmer and boy did it show as she was able to maneuver herself underwater in ways that are hard to do even without a pregnancy bouey! I love how we were also able to incorporate her toddler daughter into the mix in a fun way!
