I just loved this shoot in China Town in San Francisco! Â First of all it was the hottest day of the year so I actually wore shorts and a tank! Â Unheard of in the Summers here! Â It was such a fun vibe in the city that day with the North Beach Festival going on. Â I couldn’t have asked for a more awesome couple to share the beautiful day with! Â Ida and Rudy are getting married in a few weeks and wanted an engagement shoot full of color and interesting things. Â China Town was Perfect! Â We started off the shoot at the entrance and we didn’t get far before I had to stop and have them kiss on a bench next to some “see no evil” and “hear no evil” monkeys…I was shooting away, when all of a sudden, Rudy gets down on one knee with a box!! Â I am so confused and excited and flustered all at the same time! Â So I did what any photographer would do and started snapping away! Â Crowds of people were clapping and I was still confused. Â I thought this was a reinactment, but seeing the teary eyed Rudy I knew this was more than a reinactment…this was for real! Â Sure enough there was a beautiful antique inspired diamond ring on Ida’s fingers sitting there for the first time. Â This was the official proposal and I felt so honored to witness it! Â That was such a great way to start off the engagement session! Â We explored the streets of China Town and ventured through some of the booths at the fair…such a great backdrop to a photo session! Â Here are some of my favorite moments of LOVE captured amongst the hustle and bustle of the streets of China Town.
